We were thrilled to be asked to create a piece for Heartwork this year along with the talented Jason Munn, Invisible Creature, Meg Hunt, Aesthetic Apparatus, Gina Triplett, Jessica Hische, and Julia Rothman. Each artist was asked to interpret the work ‘HOPE’ and we decided to illustrate a Hope Garden for ours. Each piece is a signed edition of 10 with the proceeds going to raise money for art supplies at Target House and children facing long-term treatment at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Please go here to read more about this wonderful project and to purchase prints. Thanks again Don & Ted for having us be a part of this!

Many thanks to Megan Patrick and the editors at How Magazine for including us in their list of the top ten websites to check out this month. We are flattered to be included in the group. To scope out all the sweet looking urls, check out the list at howdesign.com.

Opening tomorrow night at the wonderful California Academy of Sciences is an exhibit we had the pleasure of working on with the Academy this past winter. The exhibit is all about the bizarre and varied mating strategies of the animal kingdom and features all kinds of neat creatures such as mantids and orange spotted filefish.

If you’re in the Bay Area and you’d like to swing by the opening tomorrow, the fun starts at 6pm and more info can be found here. Hope to see you there!

Here’s a little peek of some prints we did recently featuring a merry band of budding musicians. We hear they’re available for weddings and Bar Mitzvahs on short notice.

The talented folks at Struck/Axiom designed this freaking fantastic toy shop, JouJou, that lives inside the The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. We illustrated some flying contraptions for them based off our holiday promo from last year. They were then made into toy models that hang from the ceiling of the shop and are featured on some of the shopping bags and in a neat animated promo for the hotel. Seriously how rad is that Musical Candy Organ?!

Happy New Year!
